Furthermore, the initiative incorporates a speaking tour from “former PLO terrorist” Kamal Saleem — whose C.V. boasts of dining with Muhamar Kaddafi, and thirsting for jihadic death to America. The campaign’s group on Facebook is boasting of the number of views the video is receiving — although all the attention is focused on its inappropriateness.

Once more into the breach of online comments [Canadian Press]: How much does Keith Bilous, the founder of ICUC Moderation Services, hate the haters who populate the feedback section of CBC.ca? A story on their outsourced work reveals a new kind of virtual workplace stress. “They feel that they are just greasy and slimy because of all the crap they have to read,” says Bilous of his employees. “There is a lot crap the regular public doesn’t have to read because we don’t put it up.” Founded in Winnipeg, with clients including Molson and Unilever, the startup has been successful enough to open a Toronto office.

The CBC’s Digital Content Strategy [InsideTheCBC.com]: Richard Stursberg, executive vice-president of English programming at the public broadcaster, laid out his latest plans to be “multi-pronged” via partnerships with iTunes and Google. And how is this different from every other future-of-media seminar of the past five years? The panic, perhaps? “We’re gonna have to absolutely be there,” he said. Rupert Murdoch gave a speech kind of like this about newspapers in April 2005 — and then, he shelled out $580 million for MySpace.
