Fucked Up — “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” benefit single [Matador Records]: Unleashed today, the 25th anniversary remake produced with the $20,000 award from the Polaris Music Prize, geared to raising money for organizations dedicated to the cause of missing and murdered Native women, one download at a time. Leafs 3, Habs 0: The upside of getting blanked by the NHL equivalent of the Charlestown Chiefs [Hour]: Best thing about the Montreal Canadiens not scoring a goal is not being barraged by the U2 song “Vertigo,” which accompanies every home team goal scored at their Bell Centre this season. The associated nausea has even inspired a Facebook group: “EQUEURRÉ D’ENTENDRE VERTIGO DE U2 KAN LES CANADIENS SCORES.”
